Strategic and operational planning as well as accompanying research of ERDF implementation 2007-2013 - Berlin

In a first phase (2006/07) IfS supported the development of the Berlin strategy for the structural funds and the ERDF strategy for the ERDF-Operational Programme of Berlin. In the implementation phase (from 2007 onwards), IfS helped to develop the monitoring system to follow financial and physical implementation of ERDF support. Based on monitoring data, we draft the ERDF annual reports and inform the ongoing internal management as well as the Monitoring Committee with specific analysis. Furthermore, we do an annual in depth-evaluation of selected issues. Topics covered by annual studies were: N+2-problems in ERDF implementation (2009), Contribution of ERDF to developing industries under the master plan industrial development (2010) and a study on strategic options for ERDF (2011).
