Scientific monitoring of the individual projects and the overall evaluation of the federal funding programme ‘Together against violence against women’

The aim of the federal programme ‘Together against violence against women’ is to close gaps in the support system. Working out which gaps are addressed and how in the individual projects of the women's shelters and advice centres is part of the scientific monitoring.

The funding programme itself will also be evaluated. The IfS focusses on investment projects in which strategies are geared towards structural interventions, thereby reducing barriers and increasing safety, for example. Monitoring is set up for this purpose and broad and in-depth analyses of the projects are carried out. The focus is on effectiveness, obstacles and successes in programme implementation. The methods used include data evaluations, document analyses, online surveys, case studies and interviews.

Impact analyses are planned both for project clusters at the level of individual projects and at the level of the overall programme. As a result, recommendations for future programme design will also be developed.
